เพื่อความเข้าใจตรงกันของผู้ปกครอง สำหรับ Program Scratch นั้นก็คือโปรแกรมที่มีการสั่งการด้วยชุดคำสั่งผ่านโค้ดภาษาคอมพิวเตอร์อย่างเป็นระบบ ให้เกิดภาพหรือสิ่งของเคลื่อนไหว ซึ่งก็เปรียบได้กับการทำงานของระบบ Algorithm ที่เป็นขั้นเป็นตอน
ซึ่งจากข้อดีของระบบที่สอดคล้องกันของ Coding Scratch และ Algorithm จึงเป็นการเรียนรู้ที่ก่อให้เกิดประโยชน์ และฝึกฝนทักษะให้กับเด็ก ๆ ได้เป็นอย่างดี ทั้งฝึกทักษะการวางแผน รู้จักการทำงานเป็นขั้นเป็นตอน และเป็นระบบ
เพราะชุดคำสั่งของโปรแกรม Scratch จะสั่งการด้วยชุดโค้ดภาษาต่าง ๆ เพื่อให้เกิดการเคลื่อนไหว ทั้งภาพ และสิ่งของ เช่นหุ่นยนต์ หรือ การ์ตูนแอนิเมชั่น เป็นต้น
จากจุดเริ่มต้นทดลองโปรแกรมเมื่อ 20 กว่าปีก่อน จากการวิจัยของสถาบันเทคโนโลยีแมสซาชูเซตส์ MIT Media Lab สหรัฐอเมริกา กระทั่งมีการเปิดตัวอย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อปี 2013
ปัจจุบัน Scratch หรือ สแกรตช์ ได้มีการพัฒนาเรื่อยมาจนเป็นหนึ่งในโปรแกรมโค้ดภาษาคอมพิวเตอร์แสนง่าย ที่เปิดให้เด็ก ๆ ตั้งแต่ 6 ขวบ จนถึงผู้ใหญ่ ใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในรูปแบบดิจิทัล
ด้วยจุดเด่นของความง่ายเป็นธงนำ จึงทำให้โปรแกรม Scratch ได้รับความนิยมอย่างแพร่หลายไปทั่วโลก มีการแปลมากกว่า 70 ภาษา รวมทั้งภาษาไทย ทำให้ Scratch จึงเหมาะกับเด็ก ๆ ในการที่จะได้เรียนรู้ทักษะการเขียนโค้ดคำสั่งในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ มาเรียงต่อกัน อาทิ ภาพเคลื่อนไหว , แอนิเมชั่น , เกมส์ , ศิลปะวาดภาพ และหุ่นยนต์ เป็นต้น
ซึ่งจากการมองเห็นของเทรนด์อนาคตโลก ที่การศึกษาของนักเรียนในโลกยุคสมัยที่ต้องวิ่งให้ก้าวทันโลกและจะไม่ใช่เพียงการสอนจากตำราบนหน้ากระดาษ และปากกาเท่านั้น รวมทั้งเพื่อสอดคล้องกับสโลแกน The School For The Future ของ โรงเรียนปลูกปัญญา นครราชสีมา

อย่างไรก็ตามก็มีรูปแบบ Offline ที่เป็นทางเลือกเช่นกัน เพื่อให้นักเรียน หรือ เด็ก ๆ ที่อาจกำลังชื่นชอบ และกำลังสนุกสนาน กับการรังสรรค์ผลงานการวาดภาพ ออกแบบการ์ตูน ศิลปะภาพเคลื่อนไหว ต่าง ๆ ผ่าน Scratch นี้ ได้แบบไร้รอยต่อ
