Every Child Is Different

Our Learning Philosophy

We recognise that every child learns differently and has unique strengths. By understanding how the brain learns best and embracing diverse forms of intelligence, we create personalised learning experiences that help every student discover their potential and thrive.

Learning that lasts comes from within

Our philosophy rests on one belief: lasting learning grows from intrinsic motivation. When children are curious, feel capable and see meaning in what they do, they keep learning long after the lesson ends.

The eight intelligences

Plookpanya's name comes from Howard Gardner's Theory of Multiple Intelligences: every child is born with many kinds of intelligence, each equally important. Our job is to create the right environment for each of them to grow.

  • Visual–Spatial

Thinking in images and understanding spatial relationships.

  • Linguistic

Using language effectively to communicate, read and write.

  • Logical–Mathematical

Reasoning, analysing and solving problems logically.

  • Naturalistic

Recognising and understanding nature, living things and the environment.

  • Musical

Sensitivity to rhythm, sound and musical patterns.

  • Bodily–Kinaesthetic

Brain-Based Learning (BBL)

All children can learn effectively when they feel happy, safe and engaged. Lessons are designed to encourage thinking, movement, creativity and emotional well-being, and because every child has their own learning style (some learn by listening, some by seeing, some by doing), teachers plan varied activities rather than teaching from the front of the room.

Balanced development in four areas

We look after the whole child, so growth in one area supports the others.

  • Physical strength
  • Emotional well-being
  • Social development
  • Intellectual growth

Character that grows with them

Alongside the intelligences, every student builds the six ACTIVE values: Accountability, Collaboration, Thinker, Integrity, Visionary Leadership and Enquirer.
